ScorX ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the ScorX mobile application.

Account Information:

• Apple ID (through iCloud authentication)
• Subscription tier and payment information (processed by Apple)
• Team names and configurations
• Player names and statistics
• Game data and scores

Optional Information:

• Player photos (stored locally and optionally synced via iCloud)
• Team logos and branding
• Player contact information (emergency contacts, email, phone)
• Game location data
• Notes and comments

Automatically Collected Information

Device Information:

• Device type and model
• iOS version
• App version
• Device identifier (for sync purposes only)

Usage Data:

• Features accessed within the app
• Subscription tier usage metrics
• Game creation and tracking statistics

We use the collected information to:

1. Provide Core Functionality:
   • Store and manage your game data
   • Track player statistics and performance
   • Enable multi-device synchronization (Family tier and above)
   • Process subscription purchases and manage access levels

   • Optimize app performance
   • Identify and fix bugs
   • Develop new features based on usage patterns
3. Subscription Management:
   • Send trial expiration reminders (with your permission)
   • Notify about subscription renewals
   • Track usage against tier limits

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage

• All data is stored locally on your device using encrypted SQLite database
• Player photos and team logos are stored in app sandbox
• Data persists even without internet connection

Cloud Storage (Family Tier and Above)

• Provider: Apple iCloud (CloudKit)
• Container: iCloud.com.scorx.app
• Security: End-to-end encryption via iCloud
• Access: Only you can access your private CloudKit data
• Retention: Data remains in CloudKit until you delete it or cancel subscription

Data Security Measures

• SQLite database encryption
• iOS Keychain for sensitive credentials
• Secure API communication (HTTPS)
• Apple's CloudKit security infrastructure
• No third-party analytics or tracking services

Data Sharing and Third Parties

The only external service we use is Apple's CloudKit for cloud synchronization (Family tier and above). This is a first-party Apple service governed by Apple's privacy policy.

No Third-Party Analytics:

• We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, or similar services
• We do not sell or rent your data
• We do not display third-party advertisements

Your Data Rights

Access and Export

• Free & Family Tiers: Export your data as CSV files
• Coach & Club Tiers: Export as CSV and PDF reports (available in v1.1)

Data Deletion

You can delete your data at any time:

• Delete individual games from game history
• Delete teams and players from management screens
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data
• Contact scorxapp@gmail.com to request CloudKit data deletion

Subscription Cancellation

• Cancel subscriptions through App Store Subscriptions settings
• Data remains accessible until subscription expires
• CloudKit data persists for 30 days after cancellation
• Contact scorxapp@gmail.com for immediate deletion requests

Children's Privacy

ScorX is designed for users of all ages (4+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Player profiles may include information about minors (team rosters), but this data:

• Is controlled by the team manager/coach (adult user)
• Is not shared with third parties
• Remains private to the team
• Can be deleted at any time

Parents/guardians can request deletion of minor player data by contacting scorxapp@gmail.com.

Permissions and Access

ScorX requests the following iOS permissions:

Notifications (Optional)

• Purpose: Remind you about trial expiration and subscription renewals
• Control: Can be disabled in iOS Settings → ScorX → Notifications
• Usage: We send local notifications only; no push notification server

Photo Library (Optional)

• Purpose: Save game statistics and player cards to your photos
• Control: Prompted when you use "Save Image" features
• Usage: Write-only access to save generated graphics

iCloud (Family Tier and Above)

• Purpose: Sync your game data across devices
• Control: Managed in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud
• Usage: Private CloudKit database only

International Users

ScorX is available worldwide. Your data is stored:

• Locally: On your device, in your region
• CloudKit: In Apple's data centers based on your Apple ID region
• Compliance: We follow Apple's regional data protection requirements

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:

• New features or functionality
• Legal or regulatory requirements
• User feedback and improvements

Notification of Changes:

• Material changes will be announced in app update notes
• Updated "Last Updated" date at top of policy
• Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of changes

Data Retention

Active Subscriptions:

• Data retained indefinitely while subscription is active
• Historical data preserved according to tier limits

After Cancellation:

• Local data remains on device until app deletion
• CloudKit data retained for 30 days, then deleted
• Subscription records retained by Apple per App Store policies

Account Deletion:

• Contact scorxapp@gmail.com to request immediate data deletion
• We will delete all CloudKit data within 7 business days
• Confirmation email sent upon completion
